A simple typographic display of
multiple angles and perspectives.






Brief

After previous collaborations Gray Label reached out to us again to work with them on a new physical retail concept called Restore. Gray Label Restore aims to be a part of a more circular fashion industry. Providing multiple different ways to buy, sell and rent items from previous, new and ‘never out of stock’ collections.

The request was to design a visual identity and store branding that blends in with Gray Labels established brandworld but with a contemporary and bold twist.

Approach

Using only typography already in place in Gray Labels main graphic identity we created compositions that play with mirroring and turning of words and reading directions. The idea was to visualise the multiple perspectives Restore has on retail.

The result is a clear and simple yet distinctive brand language. Presented only in black and white it sets a bold but neutral tone to support the physical store space.
