The online graduation show of the University of the Arts Utrecht revolved around resilience. Working from home a lot due to covid-19, the 2021 graduates were tested to their limit in their efforts to get their degree.
The online graduation show of the University of the Arts Utrecht revolved around resilience. Working from home a lot due to covid-19, the 2021 graduates were tested to their limit in their efforts to get their degree.
As the biggest art institute of Europe the main challenge and ask of the client was to connect all of the different schools and graduates.
Approach
HouseTMM created a colourful visual campaign to convey the challenges that the graduates had to overcome. We designed a clear and recognizable graphic and animation. Resembling a net (being trapped within your own home and headspace trying to come up with new creative output) or waves (an endless sea of possibilities). Viewers of the campaign are invited to ‘dive’ into the digital treasuretrove of the graduates of the HKU.
